AREA DIRECTOR
The Area Director is responsible for growing FCA by praying and staffing the area through Ministry, Talent, Donor and Board Advancement. The Area Director works with staff and volunteers to fund and steward the finances of the ministry.
AREA REPRESENTATIVE
The Area Representative serves a local geographic area by engaging, equipping and empowering coaches, athletes and volunteers to fulfill FCA’s mission.
FIELD AMBASSADOR
The Ambassador serves 15 hours or less each week in a defined area by engaging, equipping and empowering coaches and athletes to fulfill the FCA Vision, pursue the FCA Mission and live the FCA Values.
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
An Administrative role will vary between 10-20 hours each week in a defined area. This person assists in the coordination of ministry or donor events, scheduling, and communication based on the specific needs of the area.
In order to fulfill our mission in reaching EVERY coach and athlete, FCA is entering into sport environments where we previously had not engaged on a regular basis. Club sports are off-campus sports for coaches and athletes who aspire to reach expert levels and make significant financial, travel and time investments. League sports are off-campus, developmental sports for coaches and athletes offering moderate time, travel and financial investments. FCA Sports seeks to create a catalytic discipleship experiences in this area of competition.
Motorsports are, at their simplest form, sports with motors. They include aircrafts, snowmobiles, snowbikes and watercrafts. Motorsports include 2-wheel sports (EnduroCross, freestyle, motocross, etc) and 4-wheel sports (ATVs, Formula 1, Grand Prix motorcycle racing, NASCAR, and more). Organized competition is popular, but there are also families who participate in the sport as a hobby.
Outdoors refers to marksmanship (archery, rifle and shotgun), fishing, hunting, canoe/kayaking and equestrian. In addition to ministering to coaches/ athletes in outdoor sports, FCA creates sporting experiences for donors, staff, and others. Outdoors offers someone the opportunity to grow spiritually as they experience the beauty of God’s creation.
Action sports are known for their individuality and risk-taking and include BMX, kitesurfing, mountain biking, skateboarding, skiing, snowboarding, surfing, rock climbing and wakeboarding. Organized competition occurs at all levels, although a greater number of athletes participate individually or within a community.
