SERVE AS A COACH/ ADULT VOLUNTEER

If you are a coach who is passionate about sharing God's love through the platform of sports, we would love to have you on our team!  Coaches work with our staff to run 2 training sessions each day, and FCA also provides a daily "Coaches' Huddle" time where coaches receive training, encouragement, and incredible time of fellowship.  Our goal is for you to leave camp energized and empowered to be a transformational coach back at your local school or team!  A "Kid's Camp" program is offered if you plan to coach and bring your family - email Matt Diener at mdiener@fca.org to learn more!

SERVE AS A HUDDLE LEADER

Huddle Leaders are college students or young adults who serve as spiritual mentors and camp counselors during the week.  You'll have a group of 6-8 campers under your care, and by the end of the week this group will be like family!  Huddle leaders attend practices, help with drills or activities as needed, and lead small group Bible study discussions.  Training for this role takes place virtually prior to camp, along with a 2-day intensive training on-site on the Saturday and Sunday prior to camp (held at Spring Arbor).  This is an excellent way to meet other Christian young men and women, while also using your gifts to serve younger athletes!

WHAT TO EXPECT:

FCA Camps are a time of "inspiration and perspiration"!  Campers will receive sports instruction from some of the best coaches in the state of Michigan, with high school, collegiate, and even professional level clinicians!  But most importantly, campers will experience God's love throughout their camp experience and learn more about Jesus through chapels, small group discussions, and more!

Highlights for many campers include:

  • Outstanding Speakers
  • Top High School/ College Coaches
  • Growth in your sport and physical fitness
  • Safe and secure camp conditions
  • Encouragement, hope, and inspiration
