33rd Annual FCA Ironman Golf Marathon

Who:   

We are looking for men and women who love to play golf and would like to help in raising funds for the ministry efforts of the Michigan Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Won’t you please join us?

What:  

The 33rd Annual FCA "Ironman" Marathon for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Golfers will play 100 holes of golf (you may play less or more). Golfers obtain sponsors who make either a per-hole pledge or a flat fee pledge. 

(Example: $1 per hole for 100 holes played=$100 donation)

There are two ways to be involved in this event, with prizes for your efforts.

1)     Be A Golfer! Each golfer is asked to recruit sponsors prior to the event, making their best effort to raise $2,500 in pledges. FCA will provide everything you need, including golf, cart, balls, meals and prizes. FCA will collect all pledges for you.

2)    Be A Sponsor! We need people who would like to sponsor a hole at $200 per hole. These funds go directly to FCA Camp Scholarships.

When:  

We begin with a continental breakfast from 6:00am-6:45am, followed by welcome and instructions at 6:45am, with a shotgun start at 7:00am. Food and beverages will be provided all day, concluding with dinner in the clubhouse. Each player will have his/her own cart and may choose to bring a caddy to drive for them. Golfers will play in two-somes to promote rapid play.

Where:

Pilgrim’s Run Golf Club is located 30 minutes north of Grand Rapids. This championship course, offering a combination of challenge, fun, and natural settings will make the entire day of golf enjoyable.

The FCA Golf Marathon directly benefits our FCA staff serving in the mission field at schools, fields, and courts in your community.  Specifically, this event supports 3 main geographic areas within Michigan:

• Kent County
• Lakeshore (Ottawa, Muskegon Counties)
• SW Michigan (Allegan, Barry, Berrien, Branch, Calhoun, Cass, Kalamazoo, Saint Joseph, Van Buren Counties)
